Wine is more than a simple alcoholic beverage- it brings friends together, enlivens conversation, improves health and disposition, and enhances even the most basic meals.

There are innumerable sites on the web that can answer the simplest to most complex questions about wine. This site does not attempt to do that, rather, we hope to illuminate the basic concepts of wine tasting to provide a foundation upon which a lifetime of wine enjoyment can be cultivated.
