L'Epicurien Du Chateau Balirac

A true French Bordeaux from 40 miles North of the city of Bordeaux, on the left bank, close to the village of Bégadan and the famous ‘‘pointe du Médoc’’, known for classic Cabernet and Merlot. This Bordeaux was produced using traditional wine making techniques, with long maceration. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels that were already used twice for aging. Intense ruby in color, this wine is very ripe on the nose with nice toasted notes. The mouthfeel is intense, round and balanced. Aromas of ripe fruits give depth and freshness to this wine. The finish is wonderfully long and delicious. Suggested cheese pairing: Gouda, aged Cheddar or Manchego
